Tee It Up for the Troops is a national organization that supports programs to help combat warriors overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds and regain their independence. The change from the battlefront to the home front can be particularly challenging for combat veterans, who often are working through war-related PTSD, depression, anxiety, and more.

Local volunteers who organize ‘on the ground’ can select a local veteran service organization to receive up to 50% of the net proceeds. For the Sioux Falls event, they have selected DTOM220 (https://dtom220.org) -a ranch for veterans and their families where they provide equine therapy and more.

The other 50% of the net proceeds goes to Tee It Up for the Troops national office to provide grants to partner organizations like Fisher House, or Move United (formerly - DS USA - Warfighter Sports).

Gordon served many years in the SD Army National Guard, and most of our team members have had family members serve in the military, so the whole team cares deeply about supporting organizations working for veterans.

R.E.D. Friday

RED is an acronym that stands for Remember Everyone Deployed. R.E.D. Friday was created to remind people of our heroes overseas and show that we are thinking of them. People across the country wear red every Friday to serve as a reminder and spread the message of how important it is that we keep our troops in our thoughts.

The staff of the Huron (left) and Sioux Falls (right) offices join the nation in remembering all those deployed.

March is MS Awareness Month

It's a great time to Save the Date and start training for the Huron MS Society Walk/Run at Lake Byron, Saturday, July 13th! Cornerstone has been a proud sponsor of this event since the first run in 2016 and it just keeps getting BIGGER and BETTER with evening entertainment, a bean bag tournament, and more. Hope to see you there!
